The best deals in my opinion are randomly on craigslist(memphis).

Early season I would look in the North East Region. Stan Jones Mallard Lodge will kill ducks but I don't know how much flooded timber he has.

Kansas or Oklahoma >Arkansas for ducks
Never hunted true timber but buddies head to NE Arky and never get two days back to back in the timber. Very hit it miss and those guys are hunting public with bil who stays on the birds. Would bet the good outfitters are at $750/day or better now with a waiting list.

I second this, made some hunts with Harrison two years ago and it was first class! Nice blinds and very nice lodge! Pricey but worth it! You will shoot straps of mallards and pintail

I’d go to White Oak Duck Woods. Look them up on Facebook or Instagram they are holding a shite ton of birds right now.

there are a few good ones around that have "true" green timber, and tons and tons of them that will tell you they have timber and hope you don't know the difference. the good ones are booked far in advance typically, with very few, if any cancellations. I'm not saying theres not anything available, but at this stage in the game, it would at least be something worth looking into as to why they have openings. similar to seeing deer lease openings in the paper.. if you have to go that route to get members, there might be a reason. i do know that there is a few of the "good" places don't book real heavy and may very well be able to get you in. might try Bill Byers Hunter Club, they may have something

Green Timber guides were eliminated when Arky banned them from the state management areas like the feds did nwr's. As usual, those boys did it to themselves. Same reason for the $250 fee to hunt down Venice way.

This was for next years season. Once I know what I'm looking at price wise I can book and plan accordingly. Of course I would have to buy a new Beretta or Benelli too
