Spypoint can be good if you figure out all the settings. They are very finicky. They eat through traditional alkaline batteries, gotta have lithium. We have had good success with lithium rechargeable AAs as well as the lithium pack that spypoint sells. Just have to make sure you change battery s...

I have several pieces and they are very warm. Also know guys in Arkansas that swear by this for any type of timber duck hunting or hunting in the woods in general. Apparently it does really well in the shadows. ...

The wind seems like it has been blowing for 3 straight months now but has anybody been able to get out and try the trout? I am curious as to what the water looks like in the Fourchon/Grand Isle Area.
Looks like we might get a slight north wind this weekend that could lay things down out front....

I have two shotguns, one in matte black and one in camo. Performance is the same but it sure is nice to throw the camo one around in the mud and hunt in the rain and not worry about rust. Cant do that with the black one. I'd suggest the camo if you can swing it. ...
