SWLA coast. Killed 5 ducks in 2 days. Terrible. Don’t understand why we didn’t get a push of birds

There was a big push
Seeing way more from whiteville to Gueydan but not killing many more because they know what a blind looks like and don’t come close

North LA got a huge push of mallards

From what I've seen since Thursday, ducks want rivers and wrp type brakes

Killed 18 and 30 last two days. Going for 12 more tomorrow.

2 days of limits hasn't happened in this spot in atleast 6 yrs. Def birds here... about half have moved on since Friday.

Plenty. Quite a few good ducks around too. 4 man by 7:40

Different story this morning. Managed 12 with the same crew. Still had plenty big ducks around but they are SMART

Jimjackandjose is spot on. Boy have the mallards arrived. Arctic blasts & rising Miss River was the perfect storm we needed. Just arrived a little late

Haven’t seen Mallard shoots in the woods in NE LA like this since the 90’s. We got into them steady for about 2 weeks last year but nothing like this year.

No doubt there was a push, it just was not evident on the coast. By a large margin saw the fewest ducks Ive seen all year. Some mallards were in the area. Teal no where to be found.

Killed as many this morning as I did half the season, and it's closed over here.

May have some ringnecks in the field if the water doesnt drain too fast, so there is some hope.

Most big ducks I've seen in Concordia parish since i've been keeping up with it.

Not scared to say this because not another public spot of water left on the old rivers.

I am confused? Public is finally going to get water after all this rain. It had been dry all season.
