I've heard a few reports lately but it's been from a friend of a friend of a friend's cousin type deal. Any of y'all seen any? Hopefully this front brings more down this week.

I will have a SE Texas update after this weekend since they open South Zone on Saturday. There are always a few bouncing around the marsh on opening weekend.

Early goose season around lake village Arkansas last weekend several buddies all killed easy limits. Lots of them down already.

Saw my neighbor doing the Halloween thing last night. He has a lease up in Morehouse Parish. He said he worked with the Feds last Sunday and they banded something like 90 Specks and several got radio transmitters. As of yesterday, all of them are still in Morehouse Parish.

Caught 20 15-18" trout in the west leeville area on Saturday. We didn't really start looking for them until after we had our 3 man limit of reds. I think if we would've targeted them from the start we would've gotten our limit.

Seems to me a lot of specks got here and left. Too much 2nd crop hasn’t been cut. We can’t even hunt ducks this opening weekend because we still have 2nd crop in our fields.
