DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND BUY SPARTAN

I’m up to four cameras (started with one) and they stay out ALL year. Through hurricanes.

They work just like they did on day 1 and my Verizon plan for all four is $36

Customer support is fantastic.

PS: they are $109 off right now at $200. That’s the model I have. Don’t need the live video.

Cuddeback Daisy chain system is an ideal system in theory. No app to work with and picture delays up to 24 hours are huge cons.

Cuddeback is a little antiquated, but I get pictures everyday from mine like clockwork. I think you can set how often they send pics. I have mine send every 12 hours. The solars have been going for over 2 years now at least. My only gripe is that the pics sent are low res. You have to pull the cards to get the high res images. And I upgraded my batteries to Sanyo Eneloops from the cheap rechargeables they come with.

Here’s an image I received last night (they get emailed to me around 6:00pm and 6:00am):

How long could I expect to run a mini with a solar panel? Lease is 7 hours away, so I need something that will last 6-8 months at a time.

I have the solar panels with built in lithium ion batteries. SO I don't put any batteries in the camera to eliminate the risk of batteries leaking acid.

If you can get the solar panel in decent sunlight, it should last indefinitely.

Used to be. One spot is north of Shreveport and the other is near Ruston.

I have 1 moultrie and 1 spypoint. When the spypoint craps out I'll get another moultrie. I've had excellent results with the XA-6000.

I have 2 different panels. Amazon Link 1

Amazon Link 2

I would go with the Stealth Cam panel if I were you. When I bought the other one, the Stealth wasn't available. It seems to be more robust than the other, and it's less expensive. Just my 2 cents

Thanks. That looks like a pretty good package. I see the new moultries can connect to various networks depending on which one is the strongest signal. That is nice especially given the spotty cell coverage on our lease.

So, from my limited research, everyone recommends the tactacam reveal sk. Is that the one you have? Is the subscription $20/camera since you have two?

Yes.

The best part is you get two SIM cards so it’s easy to move them from place to place and not have to have a different camera because of poor cell service.

I take my two to San Saba and AT&T works great but Verizon won’t work at all. I use them on bait spots to hunt hogs at night and they work great.

I'm in San Saba as well, and this is the same on our lease. Verizon is trash except in a few limited areas. AT&T has pretty good coverage all over our lease.

Reolink has some models for somewhat use case like this. Ive out several battery powered ones up and they hold their charge well since they only record on motion activation. May be something for you to check on

I have 3 Reconyx cellular cameras. They’re pricey but made in USA ,that’s important to me and I can afford it.
Very reliable and their customer support is stellar.

To be clear they’re on my property and I don’t have to worry about theft. Also don’t have any bears to chew them up.

I think I have my Tactacam price wrong. I think it may be $25 for two unlimited cams but don’t quote me on that.

Stealth cam is the one charging me $20 for one camera. I’ve got 3 on a bundle for $50 then one cam is $20 for a total of $70.

Can’t ever get those cocksuckers on the phone to stop overcharging me the $15 per month. Should be $5 for each additional cam.

I won’t do the year upfront unlimited anymore because of the cameras breaking or being stolen. Plus I don’t run them year around and I can suspend the service and save a few bucks.

The quality of the pictures the tactacams take are atrocious.

Coverts are similar to Spartans but a little cheaper and less user friendly.

I've got 2 Coverts I received as Christmas presents. Easy to use and customer service is very good. Picture quality at night isn't the best but it serves it's purpose.
