I've been thinking of what all I can do to it. At least a leveling kit. Bumpers front and back. Saw some rook racks with lights on it that didn't look to bad. The third row seat folds down flat so lots of space.

Would like to boost the HP some. But its got 190K miles.

I have a 99 jeep cherokee with a 3.5" lift kit with some 10.5x32 tires on it. Next set I will be going to some 33's I needed a new 4wheeler, but the price of them now is out the question. For 5k, which I have in my jeep, I can use it on and off road and if I hit a tree, well, so be it. The good thing is that it is lite, doesn't screw up my roads when they are wet. And yet to get it stuck. I had put it in some very deep water to were the water came inside the cab with no problems other then to get it to dry out. Bad point is that gas mileage sucks. Only get about 12-14 MPG, but no big deal. Another problem is that the wife loves to drive it.

Oh, I was able to write it off on the farm.

I've got a Chevy tracker with 2" lift 30" tires. It does very good and will go just about anywhere a ranger will go. I've got less than $3500 in it.

My first truck was a '91 Tacoma pick-up. I was going through a hardcore redneck phase and wrapped it with max-4. Threw a 6 inch suspension lift on it with a leveling kit, and put some 35 swampers on it. Who would have thought it would turn out to be the perfect camp truck. I've had so many offers on it, but as long as I have my camp, I'll have that bad arse machine

I had a '98 Chevy 4x4 Xcab with 35s. I put lockers in the rear and lower gears in front and back. Converted the toolbox into a gun box that'd hold six scoped rifles or shotguns plus ammo. Now it's 007Jr's daily driver for school. Parents aren't geeks, kids are just coolness vampires.

I had a 98 Chevy Z71, loved that thing. It was beat to hell, had been totaled and rebuilt. So I picked it up real cheap. Kept it a couple years, didn't use it often enough, so I sold her. Got exactly what I paid for it.

I am seriously thinking about buying a golf cart, lift kit, more agressive tires, etc.

One thing I do not recommend is a full sized truck. Sure, a big arse lifted 4x4 with 35s is a bad sob, but they're about as easy to manuver as a school bus. A small single cab 4x4 is the best thing IMO. it takes me 5 minutes to get my truck turned around sometime.

04 Dodge Goat quad cab. It gets horribly abused. Last year it got sunk in the mighty mississip.

as a former old jeep owner, I'd much rather have a little 4x4 yota with the 4 banger and some mud grips at the camp. much more reliable, tough as nails and has bed space for tools, dogs, etc.
