We are both outdoorsman and that is what this board should be so let's just agree to disagree. If you want to have a civil discussion on the subject in a different forum or format, I'm more than happy to oblige.

I take it you've never worked a manual labor job in your entire life. I'm also gonna guess you've never seen a Mexican crew working alongside a white or black crew. Or maybe it's just that you don't like it when people work hard for a decent day's pay.

Dunno, but you've got a serious problem here, and your utter stupidity isn't gonna help you solve it

Seriously. One of the main things that should bridge the gap between cultures, race, etc. is work ethic. I respect people that work hard. The same people that say shite like that are the same people that'll complain about people doing nothing and collecting government checks.

Man, it really is stupidity. Americans are the way they are (lazy and entitled), and Mexicans fill that gap and actually do the work. I could go on and on about it, but people who have a brain understand that no problems stem from them coming to work hard every day. The stupidity comes from absolutely zero knowledge of the situation, and people just like huffing and puffing.

Most of the younger ones want to work sun up to sun down, 7 days a week. I know a bunch of crews where the boss/owner has to make them take a day off. They will show up every day unless told not to. Try getting a white or black crew to do that

I know a lot of naturalized and illegal immigrants, so I feel strongly about this issue. I'd bet dollars to donuts Bossier2323 wouldn't have the fortitude to go through the whole process of becoming a legal citizen if he was forced to. The cheapest I've ever heard someone getting it done for was $12,000, and it took him 5 years. My sister's friend's mom is from Nicaragua, and is already about $35k deep and has been fighting it for around 10 years.

Let's open the borders to all Muslims and Mexicans... Democrats like yourself are what's wrong with this country.

I pledged earlier to not make this a political issue on this board but I'm finding restraint very difficult. I'm glad I'm not alone in here about how I feel on this issue.

1) I'm an independent because I can make decisions for myself
2) The biggest problems in this country are laziness, entitlement, and stupidity. People working hard is not a problem

Don't automatically assume they are all Mexicans. Most of the other Hispanics will get offended of you call them Mexican, provided they're not Mexican. Based on my previous experiences, Hondurans can't stand Mexicans.

You're 100% correct, though. The Hispanics work circles around Americans, all Americans. I've never used labor from Home Depot, but I do have multiple crews on all of my commercial construction job sites so I'm covered. I had a Honduran family move me from my last house to the current one last summer. The father and three sons moved all of the heavy items, while the wife and daughter unpacked everything. This made moving a 6 hour event, over a two to three day ordeal. I paid them by way of sending a baby crib home with them, $500 cash, and provided pizza for lunch. Since the move, I used them to build a privacy fence, and the daughter was the maid for a few months.

Thanks for contributing to one of Americas main problems

The main problem with America at the moment is most Americans (all races) aren't willing to do the job these guys will do. If they were, the hispanics would not be here to begin with.

i actually agree with you. Hispanics and Muslims should get a free ride into america because their work ethics are great.

When Hilary gets in office, I hope she busts our border policies wide open. Risk Americas dignity, Just so you fellas can exploit cheap labor.

I know they're not all Mexican. That's just the nomenclature I use because I just don't like the actual word Hispanic. Something about it annoys me, but I don't use it in their presence.

Most of the tree planting crews used in the pine industry are from Guatemala. Those guys absolutely smoke Americans, and put machinery to shame. It's pretty neat to see how fast they can throw a bulb in the ground without stopping.

Some people like their houses framed by white guys. They just need to know that it's gonna be more expensive and take a minimum of twice as long to get it done. You've also gotta realize that most of them are either gonna be drunk or high after lunch.

I recently had my house raised. Guess who was underneath the house digging, and guess who was playing on their phones smoking cigs. Those guys were even under my house in the rain digging dirt out. One was crawling around with a hand pump pumping water out, and the other three were digging.

No matter what anyone says...If you can't respect someone that works hard every day, you've got a problem.

I'm a big proponent of altering the naturalization procedures. As long as stupid people spout ignorant things off and politicians use immigration as a talking point, nothing is gonna get done.

Come on man. You're the one who threw Muslims in there and you know there are totally different dynamics at play in those two scenarios.

I'm perfectly okay with shutting down illegal immigration as long as we drastically reduce welfare and unions.

Then maybe the folks here will have to work like the Hispanics to survive. Until then, the benefits of these workers our way the negatives.

Because someone from Mexico hijacked planes, right? Or maybe they didn't have time because they were actually working to provide for their families.

I'd imagine if you spoke to a few, you'd find that they have similar values as yourself. And as far as actually speaking to them, the company owners will usually pay for someone to take English classes if they want to learn or if they have the ability to lead a crew.

With all due respect, your hatred is clouding your judgment and you cannot even remotely see it. I told you when you called me out on this that I hired a ginger(hint, this was a white man) and a Mexican who spoke perfect English. I didn't ask for his Green Card and I don't care so long as he was busting his arse the way he did. You just assumed they were all illegal Mexicans and went off about their propensity for wife raping? Do you even know anyone who's been raped by a Mexican or are you just fired up because Donald Trump told you they were raping our women? Is it shocking to you that I cooked lunch for these guys and they shared my table with both me and my wife? I've got news for you, this entire world is moving towards a global economy and hard working people should be rewarded. There are differing opinions on how best to govern going forward and not everyone who thinks differently than you is a complete idiot.

For the most part they are good people looking to make an honest buck , they're not the lazy fricking American who wants a hand out ....

Besides Louisiana is a "friendly state" for them , illegal or not they are not going anywhere.....

Seriously? Besides the fact you don't know which year this happened, how on Earth do you go from hiring day laborers to 9/11? You have really got to reach to find any kind of correlation.
