Single land owner private 90 acre lake.

The rules are that you have to keep everything under 17”. Anything over gets measured and weighed for record keeping. Take a pic and let it go. The lake record is 13 lbs.

2 of us fished a half day. Kept 25 and had 6 overs, the biggest being the 7.06 in the op.

It’s a bad arse place, I mean, just look at the background.

NWLA.

It's a funny deal. You can't bring your own boat because of salvania concerns. They have 2 aluminum bass boats with 60 hp yamaha and ultrex trolling motors that stay on the lake. That's it. It's invitation only so you can't book a trip, when he calls you better take him up on it. Last year Luke Bryan and Johnny Morris helicoptered in to fish it to give you an idea of who gets to get on it. One year we were in one boat and the owner and some top dog at Ducks Unlimited fished the other boat. It's high falutin in the redneck world...

Anyway, the company I work for does business with the owner and he started letting my boss and I come fish it a couple of years ago. He gets us out there every spring.

Duh.

**'s place?

I ask because of a family connection.

Honestly, I don't know who all may be involved or an owner/investor, but the guy that gets us out there has different initials.

I'm not a big bass eater, but you have to keep the unders and so you end up with a ton fish. Last year we caught 44.

It's ridiculous, but I get the idea of keeping everything under 17" to remove competition for the big uns.

This year I fried some fresh bass that night with extended family, then gave the rest away to neighbors.
