If the mom hadn't left her kid in a cranked car in a grocery store parking lot at 1 in the morning this probably could've been prevented

Totally agree.
However, how f@#&ing evil do you have to be to shoot a 6 year old in the head? The worst possible torture methods would be too lenient for these dregs.

Why couldn't they just take the kid out of the car? They should be killed.

if they don't get the death penalty..
no justice no peace.. unreal

Back in the day we'd pull up to the store and my mom would say, "you getting down, or staying in?"
How the times have changed... granted, we didn't live in fricking Jackson.

I live a few minutes away from where they found the kid. Absolutely terrible. That Kroger on 55 has had numerous muggings and they have a Hinds Co Sherriff in the parking lot 24/7. These thugs are getting so bold they did this shite when they know a sherriff is there.

That's the worst shite I've ever read.

Not only should the 3 murderers be killed, but also any living next of kin should killed immediately. Wipe that blood line completely out

Thugs should die, mom should be charged with child cruelty.

Somebody make sense of this timeline (from msnewsnow.com). In the store over an hour at 1am? Didn't immediately report that her kid was missing? It's not adding up to me

Updated OP -- Friday, May 19 (not sure how to best post an update). Sorry for the dupe:
UPDATE: Autopsy shows 6 Year Old was shot multiple times. Three suspects arrested.
Not sure what kind of animals roam around Jackson, MS.

WTH was she doing in the Kroger for 75 minutes in the middle of the night?
Posted on 5/19/17 at 3:55 pm to TU Rob
Timeline is all wrong, Hinds sheriff and Jackson PD got all the times messed up. She was only in the store a few mins. Jackson PD and Hinds PD work on CPT.

this whole shite just makes me fricking sick. I heard the amber alert when I woke up and then heard that the boy had been found mid morning.
those assholes had no reason at all to kill that boy...the only thing they gained out of the whole deal was a ride several miles.

I am pretty familiar with them. What is it about them that you're unsure about? I'll be happy to share what I have learned in the past 40 years.

I'm sure everyone here is familiar with the concept that prompted me to post links to those articles: There are savages out there who will not hesitate to kill you or a family member.
Obviously we shouldn't leave kids in a car, especially in Jackson, NOLA or any of a dozen other cities. But beyond that, people need to be prepared to deal with this kind of animal if they are targeted/selected as a victim.
The thugs who belong to gangs (not saying these were gang members) travel in packs -- in which case we'll need multiple shots. These dudes probably won't run just because you rack a shotgun or pull a handgun (lest they lose face with their peers). They will need to be put down.
The same goes for the ones on heavy duty drugs (meth, bath salts, etc.), and those who have serious mental disorders (the sociopaths, psychopaths, schizophrenics, etc.). They will have to be put down.
I posted all that to say this: The odds that we might be targeted by one of (or a group of) these savages is pretty low. But the consequences can be incredibly bad.
Carrying a gun with enough ammo, and having the skill to use it (maybe against moving targets, probably while we're moving) become pretty important.
It's not my job to suggest what gun you should carry. (Well, maybe it would be if you were sitting in my class ). But those who carry the little, low capacity, mouse guns (or any handgun for that matter) might want to give some thought to how they'd handle a group of three or four hardened street criminals who have absolutely zero regard for human life.
Just a thought - and just my $.02 worth.

all of this took place within a several mile radius of my house, which is in a damn nice town. I have thought about that a lot over the last couple of days...

Do you know that for a fact? The kind of mom that would take her 6 year old to the store at 1am is the type that would leave a 6 year old in the car for 60 mins while she screwed around. Given, as a parent I can see how a single parent could need to run to the store in the middle of the night and want to leave their sleeping 6 year old in the car for 3 mins while you ran in to buy something like medicine. But normally it would be because the kid was sick and therefore you'd take the kid inside.
