In a few weeks I will be buying new tires for my 08 Tundra. I will be buying all terrain tires and I’m looking for some input. Anyone familiar with Nitto Terra Grappler G2? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I put nitto ridge grapplers on mine. Best tire I have ever owned. Not much louder than the stock street slicks and do excellent in mud. I have about 15k miles on them with no signs or wear. I had a buddy get rid of his terra grapplers due to noise.

My favorites are the ATZ P3. They last a while, and work equally as well on road as off road

Just bought some a month ago. 275/65/20. It’s a 34” tire. My decision was swayed though bc i got them buy 2 get 2 from ntb plus a $75 rebate which I just got in the mail.

I have about 10k on my Toyo AT2's, on my 4Runner. I really like them. They were closest in weight to the stock tires in an AT, so I didn't lose any mpg. I also got a great deal on them around Christmas with tirebuyer.

I change out KO2’s after about 60k. I could stretch it a little, but it’s not worth getting stuck.

Overpriced. All variants of the Cooper Discoverer AT3 are as much or more tire in every category for less $$$.

My $0.02, take it or leave it.

All good suggestions in this thread.

I bought a 2002 Chevy Crew Cab Duramax brand new in late '01. When the factory tires were done, I went with Nitto Terra Grappler AT at least twice (kept the truck 10 years, sold it in 2012). Great tires. They have a dual stage wear construction, meaning that initial tread wear is faster than end-stage tread wear, which extends your mileage.

I liked the look and performance of those tires, and had no complaints. Your mileage my vary. My dad runs Toyo Open Country on his truck, with great satisfaction and long life.

You can buy with confidence with Nitto and Toyo.

I have them on my Tahoe. I drive both highway and oilfield roads. Not much noise on interstate. Wearing well so far with 8k on them.

Ditto for the Nitto ridge grapplers..i've got them on my tundra with 44k miles on them. Plenty of tread left to make/surpass 60k, and are quiet for the tread style/pattern.

I’ve had 2 sets of Grapplers. They are great and last a long time. I’ll be getting another set soon.

I had the Cooper Discoverer AT3 and really liked them. Changed them after 75k and they still had a little life in them. Decided to go with the Falken Wildpeaks this go round for the more aggressive look, but 10k miles in I can tell they are wearing faster than my coopers. Both are are great with road noise, but at this point it’s looking like i’ll Go back with the coopers next time.
