270 WSM Ammo

Does anyone know where to find any? I've checked about 20 websites and 10 different stores and no one has it. I have 9 bullets left. We bore-sighted the gun and I shot three times this year and missed. Now I need to sight the gun in and be able to hunt. Is this gun scrap metal now?

did you hunt based only off of a bore sighting?
I have a 270wsm as well and its tough to find anything for it. I buy anything I find even if its not the same stuff I have been shooting.

Get up early and monitor federals website. I've picked up 270, 270wsm and 6.5cm from them through this year. They dump small batches of different calibers every day, just have to get lucky on your caliber that day.

That's enough to have the gun sited in and 5-6 rounds left if you know what you're doing.
you have to have a good rest.
25yds. put the crosshairs on the target, shoot.
put the crosshairs back on the target (original aiming point)
Move the cross hairs (with the turrets) to the impact.
Move target to 100yds
Shoot.
Again put scope on original aim point and move the crosshair to the impact point.
Shoot again to verify.

SGAmmo.com shows 9 boxes in stock, they’re about $59 a box, I’ve ordered from them several times but not since the ammo supply went crazy so I’m not sure how long their shipping takes now.

Find someone local that reloads. If you have the brass, they can load some for you for the price of the components. Of course, components are difficult to find currently as well, but a pound of powder, 100 primers, and a box of bullets will go a long way. Better yet, take up the hobby yourself, its a lot of fun. I'm sitting on probably 200 rounds of 270 WSM, and have enough components to load up plenty more.

SGAmmo. I bought two boxes yesterday morning and they were shipped out a couple of hours later. UPS says they'll be delivered on Monday. I did just read that thread on UPS and ammo so I am keeping my fingers crossed it arrives. I got the ammo shipped to my office and our UPS guy is great.

Yeah I thought the same thing, brand new poster with two post and both are dumb.
There should be a feature that if a person gets enough downvotes on a post that they get locked out for a week or so.
That would keep the dumbassery down to at least only 4times a month

SG ammo is quick. I bought 6 boxes of 35 Remington last year and they were here within a week.
