225 Merc

How much do yall think this is worth? Have a guy selling one in my neighborhood for $29,500, and it says that he has at least double that in the boat (I find that hard to believe). Though if I was serious about purchasing, I would call BS on that reasoning.

I'd say a lot less than that, however a lot depends upon how many hours on the motor. I would think closer to 20K than 30K. Also what else does he have in it?

It isn't hard to get a pathfinder up to 60 grand with electronics and shite.

On the little brochure he claims he really hasn't used it much and that is why he is getting rid of it. Most of the electronics he lists seem fairly standard, though he went as far as to list the damn anchor it comes with. I'm not really looking to spend that much, but figure I could get something new for that kind of money. Also as I look at it, why in the hell should I care how much you have in it?

Also looks like it doesn't have much of a V and the ride would be rough as a F.

You've never rode in one I see.

They are some cadillac arse boats.

Its on Bev Garden
I'll check it out tomorrow but I doubt it's worth that much.

I will say that pathfinder is one of the best

Regardless, depending on the hours and shape it's in I'd try to get him down to around 22k

29,500 is unreasonably high unless he only has like 25 hours on the motor.

Pathfinder is up there on the level of Shearwater, Yellowfin, and Ranger but that does seem a little high for a 7 year old boat.

Is it the all white hull?

A buddy just bought the same exact boat with only 100 hours on it for 5-6k less than that.

ETA: same model and year

This is the exact boat I run and we bought it less than a year ago. Mine has a 200 vmax on the back end and it runs like a scalded dog. Ride is what you would expect from a high end boat that has very little v. Smooth but the big waves will get you. The performance around corners and out of the hole is f'n nuts. Mine was in just about immaculate shape and the motor only had 135 hours on it and the compression checks came back real good. All this to say we payed in the low 20s as opposed to the high 20s you're talking about.
