The story on the SP7 is that the German government has cleared it for export as a pistol and 10rd mags. It hasn’t cleared ATF regs yet. That is expected later this year and HK won’t officially announce until it’s ready to ship. Estimates are Q4 2026. It’s coming and will be one of the most sought after guns ever to hit the market.

Yet you say you buy Canik recently and think they're trash?

I stayed away from them for years but after the reviews over the last few years I bought 2.

MCP Prime Comped
Canik Smoke

I wouldn’t consider them near the level of a $250 Taurus

There is no reason for both 4.6 and 5.7 to exist.

I’ll stick with my ps90’s and will love when my FRT gets to the farm in July

For anyone with a GWOT or FDE build, KAC has the Taupe rail covers finally back in stock after a few years gone but they won’t last long.

Buying that gun?

You give them a local gun shop that does transfers. The online store ships to the dealer who will run a background check.
when the local gun store gets the gun, they’ll log it and call you to come get it.
You pay the online store and the local dealer will charge you $25-50 to transfer it and probably $10 for a background check.
When you pass the background you walk out the door.

What's the reliability of Taurus pistols these days?

I’ve had great luck with them. Their revolvers are fine.

quote:

Small in Stature. Big on Features.
The H1 Bandit Rifle has a little outlaw spirit baked right in. Shorter, handier, and packed with modern rimfire features, it brings a bold new attitude to Henry’s classic lever-action platform. With its 13-inch length of pull, checkered genuine American walnut pistol grip-style buttstock, and round blued steel barrel, the Bandit is built for larger youth shooters, smaller-framed adults, and anyone who wants a compact rimfire that comes up fast and feels ready to run.

Compact and Quick
The Bandit may be scaled for a shorter reach, but it does not feel like a compromise. The pistol grip-style stock gives it a confident hold, the checkering adds control, and the compact fit makes it easy to shoulder when cans, steel plates, or squirrels make the mistake of showing up downrange.

Optics-Ready
This Bandit skips the iron sights and goes straight for glass. The receiver cover features an integrated Picatinny rail, so mounting a scope or red dot is simple with no extra base required. Just mount your preferred rings or plate and go. The Monte Carlo buttstock with raised cheek piece helps put your eye where it needs to be for better sight alignment.

Suppressor-Ready
Threaded 1/2×28 and ready for quiet work, the Bandit is built with suppressor use in mind. Its magazine tube angles slightly downward to clear suppressors with an outside diameter of 1 inch or less, a small detail that makes a big difference once you put it to use.
