I had one of my feeders drained the other night. The yellow plastic caps were on the ground and the feeder was empty except for a little in the base. It was half full prior to this.

Any ideas what critter did this?

I had 3-4 regulars over the past couple weeks...I just counted 10 on my 2 feeders. Seems like they keep showing up. Just filled the feeders up today and they already drank 1/3 of them.

Up here in NW Arkansas I have two feeders out and normally see 6 to 8 fighting at them. They are about 50 feet apart. One is on the rear patio and the other one is on a tree on the other side of my rear deck. While sitting on the deck we are directly in the flight/fighting line. The one on the rear patio is visible from my back door.

Just put mine up with a fresh batch of sugar water. Took it down yesterday morning due to Ida coming through. I had 5 hanging around before the storm but hadn’t seen any since hanging it post storm. Maybe they evacuated to Texas.

Watching two fight over my one feeder in new roads. Gonna put all of mine out now that the storm is gone

Suddenly got an increase in the last two days. 5 feeders up. Will probably get to 8 in the next week or so.

Looks like a couple more showed up....Losing track but looks like around a dozen or so of them here swarming the feeders. Awesome to watch. Not sure if the storm brought them in or what but seems like it since most started showing up yesterday.

Same here in Folsom. I had a few and now have at least 20. I assumed the storm brought them?

From over a dozen this weekend to about 4 this morning. That push of cooler air has them headed onward.

Me too, just a couple female ruby throats left hanging around my feeder.

After seeing only two hummers this morning I saw none the entire day. I have three feeders out and where I sit on my deck I can see all three of them. My wife misses them already.

I had to rescue one that got trapped in our garage. All it had to do was fly low enough to see the giant opening and leave.
But, it kept bumping against the ceiling.

Raccoons. They've been drinking out of our feeders as well. My son got video of one knocking a feeder off the hook the other night. I've been bringing them into the house at night and putting them back out early before sunrise.

Bears also will drink the nectar. My kin in KY see bears drinking from the feeders if they forget to bring them in.

At peak I had 6 feeders out and they were covered up with birds - a couple dozen. I'm down to 2 feeders and 2-3 birds each day in B'ham.

Due to the raccoons I had to bring in my feeders each night and put them back out first thing in the morning.

The hummers we had are all gone South. This is the second day of not seeing them.
