I've been wanting to lease some property in Oklahoma for a couple years. You find something worth it lemme know. I'll go in with ya if the price is right.

That's awesome. What kinda bow does she shoot?

We bought her a Parker Buck Shot off of archery talk last year. Lady had used it for 3-D shooting only, so was in good condition. Came with the 2 sets of limbs so she could start in the 30# range and then work up. She has tapped out though since the stronger limbs only go to 45#. She will have to get something different next year and I can pass it on to my son.

Like many others I can't wait for October 1. Third year bow hunting but I've never even drawn back yet on an animal. Hoping to at least get a doe with my bow this year.

Where are you hunting? Have you seen any deer while bowhunting?

3 years without drawing back is tough

I know where to look for them. More asking about like going and physically looking at property or just seeing pics and leasing over internet since it's a pretty good haul. States like OK, KS, MO OH etc have good tools for leasing over internet, and prices seem fair. I'm just skeptical about leasing property I have not walked, and it would suck really bad to drive 12 hrs to look at a potential lease and have it not go well.

I would find 5-6 potential properties that I would possibly want to lease and make a weekend trip out of it. Line up the owners so I could see all of them over the weekend and pick the best one for you.

Just built 4 of these. I added double cup holders and foam on the bow hangers after these pics. I got tired of laying my bow in the dirt to go get my arrows then arrows in the dirt while shooting.

Oh I've had deer come in while bow hunting just not quite in a range I wanted to take a first shot on. Also only had four sits last year in bow season after my son was born.

Should have more sits this season and I'm more comfortable with my bow.

Fatfingered the frick out of that downvote, my bad! Gave you an up to balance it.

Wouldn't happen to have a design on that, huh? Looks awesome, and could definitely use something like that when I'm shooting.

I don't have any plans for it but I could give you some measurements and you can look at the pics to figure out how I did it. The only hard part is the mortise I cut through the arrow holder and I did the cup holder the same way. But the next one I build I figured out a way to do without that. I suppose I could draw up some plans if you want. Or, I see your McNeese fan, I live in Lake Charles, I can sell you one for $60. (I dont know the rules on selling things on here, that's not what my post was meant for.)

Might take you up on that the next time I'm in Lake Charles. I do a fair bit of woodworking, but not always easy with an infant at home and numerous unfinished projects laying around...lmao!

Haha, I hear ya. I can help you out, do you have a pocket hole jig, 3 inch hole saw, and a drill press? If you dont, here's another way, very similar to mine. YouTube
