Congrats on raising her right. a lot of folks don't think that teaching a girl about the outdoors is beneficial. they couldn't be more wrong.

I don't know. You should go start a thread on the OT asking all the Greeks what's wrong with your cargo pants.....they could answer all your questions just right

TT, I can't even imagine having a daughter, but if I ever do.....I really hope she gets into outdoor things. Guess you gotta get them started young.

thats the important thing, now that she is 14 she doesn't always want to hang out with dad which is ok. But its nice to know we have things we enjoying doing together and she knows I have always been and will continue to be involved in the things she does.

And as stated this the OB the only clothing we will critic is making sure the camo matches the surroundings...

I took my oldest daughter duck hunting when she was around 10. She goes with atleast once a year now. Over the summer she got her dive cert.

She loves the outdoors, I am hoping she continues

Mine just made 6 in July, and the other day at dinner tells me she has a "crush" on a boy in her class(1st grade) then proceeds to tell me what a crush is exactly.

She then went on to tell me when she's 8 she can get a cell phone and have a boyfriend, I told her she wouldnt be big enough for that yet, and when she asked how big she had to big I touched the ceiling. She made a funny face at me. I went to the garage to drown my sorrows.

I have 3 daughters: 13, 10, 2

The 13yr old is all girl, and the hormones are raging. But thankfully, her and I are very close and she actually talks to me about boys, etc instead of her mom. The 10yr old frustrates the living hell out of me, one minute we are butting heads and the next minute we cant stand each other. She is definitly a momma's girl. Now the 2 year old is definitly daddy's girl. However, I see alot of my qualities in her and I know when she hits 12-13 it is gonna be hell on me.

With that said, I wouldnt change anything because girls always suprise me with their huge hearts and emotions.

Congrats Tex. My step daughter wasn't in to outside stuff, which was cool. Grandaughter from other step daughter just started college. Can't believe she's that old. Used to take her duck hunting all the time. She loved it. As all the grandkids do.

Congrats and tell her Happy Birthday.

My two are 6 (boy) and 8 (girl). We went fishing y-day and they both a totally self sufficient. I was a pretty proud dad.

And I have told my daughter that she can date when she turns 27. She was ok with that.
