Sounds like WWIII out here. Just heard someone calling a little bit away from us blowing the ratchet with his call.

I cut my teeth out there, between all the yahoo's and the bottomless muck out there it is a bitch of a place most of the time.

Got 2 small does out feeding. Hopefully they’ll attract something bigger.

No, but most of it is still green here. I want to hunt white oaks and scrapes, but the wind is wrong.

Buck worked a scrape and was chasing a couple does before legal shooting time. Shot at 6:54am approximately 110yd with 130gr core lokt. Shoulder shot DRT. Best buck to date. We’re caping out after breakfast.

We used to bow hunt the Nueces Ranch on 624 between George West, Tilden and Catulla. Spent 25 years running all over that property. Raised my kids sticking arrows in pigs, javelina, and deer. We made it through 3 different owners. When it sold last summer, we lost it completely. Supposedly some rich guy from Louisiana bought it. My wife asked me why I woke up in a bad mood this morning. It's because I had another dream about hunting there last night. Man I miss that place. Congrats on that deer. Beautiful buck.

Just checked the solar lunar chart and said major feed time is 11:30am-1:30pm. Guess I’ll be sitting until at least 1:30.

Were you the baw in the F250 with a pallet of corn?

I hunted over there yesterday and got behind a baw with LA plates.

It was hot yesterday. Saw 1 coyote.
