Unfortunately I think the deer will lay down at light with this wind picking up. May catch them at daylight going to bed or bucks cruising

Clark county Arkansas. Muzzleloader Christmas hunt. Back in my stand that I’ve hunted basically all season. Never saw a buck in the daytime until yesterday. He was more than likely going to be on the wall. Using my 3006, he was probably 160 yds on top of the ridge. Shot two times. Never even scared him. Got down and walked up the ridge where he was standing. Looked across to the other side and 2 more big bucks hope off. Oh well maybe they will make a mistake again today and come out.

Sitting outside drinking my coffee, saw a shite load of woodies. Must have water in the woods now. Yesterday morning, my daughter sent a short video of woodies flying behind her house. Told me there were hundreds and flew a easy 20 mins.
