4Jr with his first ever deer kill at 6:53am. I don’t know who’s more pumped still an hour later.

Moments like these are what makes life worth living. I killed my first deer sitting beside my Dad 35 years ago. My Dad dropped 4Jr and I off at the stand this morning.

.444, set up on a funnel with a few swamp chestnut oaks along it. Saw a couple does and dink bucks.

My 13 year old son just shot a doe . He’s pumped up. That’s his second one this week. On a roll.

It’s a great deer gun. I loaded some 200 grain accubond for it . They don’t go anywhere.

My sons deer from this morning. He’s a happy boy and I’m a happy dad.

Gun season opened this morning in MS.

Just got to the ladder stand and my son is in another.

Even if one walks out I doubt I shoot it. Want my son to get him the big boy we have on camera.

Awesome! I’m bringing my 5 year old and 3 year old to the camp tomorrow. Should be interesting to say the least.

Brought the middle son waiting on whatever four legged to show itself. Strong chance some hogs show up as they been eating me out of house and home lately.

How do the Barnes do? I have some 85 TTSX for my little girls 243. I loaded them with Superformance . Haven’t killed anything with them yet.
