What’s the OB ranking on trucks these days?

Reading various boards over the years, I’ve gotten the following impressions:
F-150 - standard truck for baws
Chevy/GMC - some loyalists, not broadly popular
Toyota - reliability king, truck for sophisticated people
Ram - nice interior, but crap in general
Titan - n please

But I assume the OB is more reliable, especially on this topic, so what do y’all say?

I have heard mostly the same anecdotally. However, I know a handful of people who drive Rams and I've never heard any of them complain of issues with the truck and needing any repairs.

OB ranking (all 4x4 of course):

White King Ranch F250: God’s Own Truck
Toyota Tacoma: tOfficial Truck of the OB and Baby Jesus’s Own Truck
Toyota Tundra: tOfficial Truck of OB’rs age 35-50 and with kids
Ford F150: “I like to complain, so I bought this truck.”
GMC Sierra: “I like to be different and a truck that rides better than an F150.”
Chevy Silverado: See GMC Sierra but with less money.
Ram: “Screwing fat chicks and driving Ram trucks are both like riding a scooter…”

RAM Limited - I drive a 2020 model with 60K miles. Zero problems. Best interior, best quite ride, smoothest ride and best sound system. The HEMI has plenty HP for all my needs.

GMC AT4
Chevy High Country

Ford

The F series Ford trucks have been the best-selling truck in the US for like 45 years in a row.

Yet General Motors still sells more pickups than Ford.

Ford considers all F-series (150-450) as a single model. General Motors splits their models between GMC and Chevrolet.

GM is the market leader in pickup trucks. They are the market leader in full sized SUVs by an even wider margin.

I've only had 3 pickups in my lifetime as I tend to keep them for a long time. The first was the hybrid Ranchero, the car/pickup based on the Ford Torino body with a pickup bed. Loved it for it's looks and power. Kept that from 78-95.

Next was the little Ford Ranger with the 4 banger engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Great on fuel at 27 city and 31 hwy. and easy to get around town with. Kept that from 95 until Katrina took it in 05.

Present truck is an 06 Chevy Silverado with the V-8 engine, automatic transmission and love it for the bed space and load hauling ability both the other trucks lacked. Sucks for gas mileage though, but I'm now retired so don't use it as much now so going through a tank about every 5-6 weeks or so.

I have to think this was for the 4th gen. The 5th gens are different trucks. I have one(5th gen) now after having two straight GMs that I liked a lot. I would buy the same truck tomorrow if I totaled it.

Same here. Had 2 f150s and 2 chevy. Ram is way nicer especially when you get into the ones with the newest technology. I'm already watching for my next one to buy.

I always find this interesting. Every single time a new truck is introduced, there is a claim it's ugly. I have never thought that, and actually like the new Tundra look.
