I've posted this before, but this thread seems appropriate to do it again

turn em loose and run them through other people's property :P

I'm fine with dog hunting if you have enough land to keep your dogs on it.

Exponentially more fun than sitting on a stand IMO. I quit deer hunting when they stopped the dog hunting in our area.

Nah, we do everything possible to keep them on our lease. We have switched from big dogs to only beagles so they don't run so far and so fast. We always run with radio collars and this year the club is getting gps tracking collars as well.

Nice. I hunt 600 acres of family land. The guys on one side have 20 acres of clear cut and turn their dogs loose to run deer out of the pine thicket on my patch. Pisses me off every time. I'm not gonna shoot a dog for acting like a dog but I wish I could get the owners fined or something. They are blatantly releasing them to go on our land.

I was hunting near the edge one time and the dogs were running through our land. Since I was in a high tree I could see that there was a guy standing on a fourwheeler waiting for his dogs to run something out. The dogs ran a young 8 point by me so I shot it to spite him. He had the nerve to drive around to the gate and ask if I had shot a deer his dogs were running

That's pretty terrible. We have 2000 acres (which isn't a lot running dogs). But we do a good job keeping them contained.
