I am really confused. I thought the shot to beat GB was a draw to the button that was wide open. Instead we just tried to blow up the rocks.

Today, to win in extras, made a much tougher draw to the button to win.

What was that all about?

I just discovered the joy of watching curling. Had to look up the rules. What a cool sport.

Not looking good for the girls. Down 5-4 in the 10th and the Swiss have the hammer.

Swiss have just been better today. US forced to take 1 with hammer 4 times.

I felt like our last stone should've been thrown to butt up against or one closest to center and they would've had a hard time taking them both out.

Can still add to the medal count. Didn’t realize we moved into second ahead of Italy this morning

That last rock overcurled by Peterson just enough for the opening. Hard to beat a team when their skip throws near perfection for the game.

I agree. Throw the freeze, lie 2 and maybe win it there.

That sucked. I had the TV muted; can someone explain the strategy at the end of the 9th trying to bounce that one stone in from the edge as opposed to trying to put the thrown stone in the green ring?

Is Singles curling a thing? I think Korey Dropkin could do it.

They were trying knock only the yellow out and going for 3. I thought the better play there was to throw the draw near the button and get 2 for the tie.

We aren't done. They have the bronze medal game tomorrow. Thiesse can still become the only the 2nd person to win 2 medals in curling in a single Olympics. It was always a reach against the Swiss. Next to impossible to beat them 2 games in a row.

Had no problem going for three there. Get two and your in the 10th and they have the hammer needing one to win. Had to go for three to be up by one.
