Right? I feel for her. The track is a shitshow with this man-made China BS. Her style of skiing is go hard or go home. And this is her first Olympics without her Dad. You could just tell she was beside herself.

She’s the poster child for American Olympians right now...pouty and mentally weak. Toughen the frick up!!!! This is flat arse embarrassing out of our athletes. Not for where they’re finishing, but how they’re “competing”.

It's always funny when random fatasses yell "YOU'RE MENTALLY WEAK" when the fact those athletes are even at that position in life is because they are a billion times mentally stronger than the people shitting on them.

you telling one of the most accomplished and greatest female alpine skiers of all time that she is mentally weak and that she needs to toughen the frick up because she is embarrassing and not competing hard enough is just truly amazing. i mean just truly an incredible thing to believe

They desperately need to give them 2 chances - look how Shaun White responded with that format.

I can't believe how many of y'all really think she's on the course. She's way off to the side near the top and only seems like a distraction because of the cameras.
The person sitting with her was one of the coaches who happens to be her mom.
I feel really bad for her and am sure the conditions being what they are (fake snow) contributed. But at this point, I'm sure she's in her head. She was trying really hard to go for it and not hold back and just lost it.

Ok Broski...I wasn’t going to even respond to you, but I will. Listen, I went on over 400+ combat missions while stationed at Camp Outlaw in downtown Baghdad in 2003-04. A shithole country in which I lost 2 of my closest friends..SGT Jay Gauthreaux of Louisiana and CPL William Warford of Texas. I’ve been engaged and pinned down in 15 hr battles that required air support just to save our asses. 3/8 Cav 1st Cavalry Division, Ft Hood, TX. I’d say those situations were a little bit more life and death than what she is facing right now. I’ll say it again...Shiffrin needs to stop crying and toughen the frick up!!!
...and just an FYI...Jay was a HUGE LSU fan and is actually the reason I’m even on this board in the first place. RIP Jay!!!

Yes. You throwing your military service in people's faces as if it gives you the right to criticize others when they are competing at a level you cant even dream of is just incredible

Oh whatever you fricking idiot. I was simply responding to Broski insinuating that what Shiffrin is going through is somehow way more mentally demanding than anybody could possibly relate to. In my case...yea unfortunately I’ve experienced the worst this world has to offer. It’s not some sort of awesome brag...but the truth. You just can’t handle the fact I fail to feel sympathy for how she’s weeping. She has what...4 other events? Get the frick up and move on. Quit crying like a baby. You’re such a shite poster.
