in pensacola that washed up on Portofino.

just got it, my collegue ran all over pensacola tracking this bastard. finds the guys at the bar and just so happened jimmy buffet was there

:lol: Every now and then we see a buoy high tail it from TAO to central america... a couple years ago some Filipinos grabbed a DART buoy

Nice one CE. How long have you been contracting for BP? Reminds me of the story the water survival guy told us one year.
Apparently some guys had stolen a life raft from a helicopter at a heliport, and took it with him and his friends to the lake one weekend. They had about 6 people in the raft just floating along, when a coast guard chopper positioned themselves right over the liferaft.
Apparently the intelligent crooks didn't know there was a GPS beacon that went off whenever the rafts are inflated. The instructor told us 3 of the guys in the raft bailed out and started swimming for the shore.

set up in the mobile ICP, havent made it out in the field yet but am pretty confy here and will probably be here for the long haul then back to my regualtr day job
