I am not trying to defend BP. I am just passing on what I can about what I am hearing.
People need to put a little thought into what the media is saying and what Obama has said. Keep in mind that he said he is in charge and that the he was fully engaged and was running the show from the beginning.

Yeah, keep this thread what it has been up to this point: civil, on-topic, and strictly informative. Save the arguments about the incident and the subsequent handling of it for after we get this thing capped and cleaned up.
