That clock on that screen of the ROV on the Huffington Post site had always been showing actual time. I don't think that is a true live shot.

Yeah but that is fricked up, those feeds in their control room are being given to them by BP or teh Govmnt. Ahhhhhhhhhaaaaa, that's it, fricking liberal Democratic CNN is in Obamas pockets, they are his bitch.

frick em, not watching anymore....not giving CNN the pleasure of having me watch. Thats about the only way to get customers for that suck arse network.

Noticed that too Yat. Is that a leak from the BOP?

ETA: and now they've switched back over to the riser.

After lookingat the CNN multiview feed, I can't imagine what a nightmare it must be to keep all those ROVs umbilicals from getting all tangled up.

Can someone give a novice description of what I am looking at on the live feed?

It seems I see 3 different flows of oil, a white ocean floor?, and some structure to the right of the view (maybe the ROV?). TIA

TiG, If you're looking at the BP or CNN feed, it's the riser at the top of the BOP.

Is it a good thing that mud seem to be settling, causing the water to become murky? It seems to me that means the flow from the riser top has slowed. Thoughts?

I just got off the phone with my contact and things continue to look promising. Continue to keep the fingers crossed and say the prayers, but from my layman's perspective things look a hell of a lot better than they did 24 hours ago.
