I'd be alright if Facebook banned all things political. Then all these idiots who spew nothing but political reposts and liked would be reminded that their opinion in fact, does not matter as much as they think it does.

Problem is you can't do that effectively...there would be lawsuit after lawsuit.
the only way to legitimately do that is to not allow any ads and make Facebook a pay to play service.
or at least give you the option to pay and get rid of ads which is probably where we are heading.

BTW, there are not 2 Billion global users. People think 2 billion persons use it. It’s not even available in China. Every small business, PTA group, movement, etc... must count as a user.
