Livingston homers are going to be angry. They will probably post pithy remarks after they look up the definition of "proficient" and "standardized".

Good for Zachary!

I hope they can keep this up. There is a lot of very nice new housing under construction there - especially along Port Hudson-Pride Road. That's a lot of new students to accommodate.

Congrats to Zachary. Time for Ascension and Central to step it up.

That's great! Unfortunate it's in Zachary, though.

Their stats are comparable to the best districts from other states. There is a chart in the link in the OP.

Once Zachary fills up, West Feliciana knows it's going to get flooded with new housing. They've been even more strict than normal lately around new development.

There's a lot of Horton/DSLD subdivisions going up there.
In 10 years, it will be complete crap.

Good for Zachary. In a district that small you can get good results if you keep the kids engaged in a positive way. It's much more difficult in a larger district because of the variety of situations. But still, credit where credit is due. Good work.

Is this like claiming you're the skinny chic at Camp Roundup because your BMI is slightly under 40?

True - although I think they'll be held up by the skyrocketing interest rates.

There has been a lot of nicer homes going up there too on the north side in the past 5-10 years. It's actually turned out to be a very nice area.

The developers might pass over West Feliciana and just double down in Central. Or move to West Baton Rouge. Or even Pointe Coupee if that STEM academy continues to perform.

Donaldsonville is horrific. It's a very sad, depressing place. WTH happened to it?
