I have YTTV and an ESPN+ subscription but that doesn't necessarily mean that I will still get ESPN, ESPN2, SECN etc through the ESPN app...correct?

You have to have ESPN Unlimited to get most of those

I only got youtubetv for college sports. Let’s see how this goes. If they try to increase prices much, I may look for another avenue for and cancel

So do I - for now. Actually canceled Espn+ today. I'm assuming its on the way out anyway because of the new Espn app.

ESPN has changed its shitty app more than HBO it seems.

With an antenna, on Saturdays you can watch the three SEC games, on Fox the Big10 or Big12. CBS has Big10 and non P4 conferences games. NBC has some ACC games and of course ND. I use the Score app and any other game, you can keep up with and they will send video of any big play or anything and on Sundays you get a 12 oclock game, a 3 oclock game, the sunday night game is on NBC, the Monday night game is ABC.

You still get a lot from the network channels. And a better picture with an antenna.

I'm saving a couple of hundred a year, but going with ESPN unlimited and Fox One, I already have Paramount Plus so the only games I may not be able to watch are NBC games.

Thanks YoutubeTV for saving me money by leaving your platform

edit: I've had peacock too, so I'll have NBC games, may break about even but it is still better than youtubetv. I may only need to go back to streaming TV for march madness.

Yeah

And yo have to jump around opening and closing apps to watch that

Just having it all on one platform is so much easier

College football had just about drove me away from going to games with the constant price increases and all the extra charges. Constant ticket increases, parking increases, concession increases, tailgating increases, wanting donations, and now NIL fees! ESPN has turned shitty ever since they were bought by Disney! Use to be games and straight sports. Now it all opinion shows and can’t stand college gameday anymore. I just watch the game and turn it off. Guess I’ll go back to listening on the radio or just stop watching it all together.

I paused YouTube TV, and got ESPN Unlimited. I may just drop YTTV entirely, since about all I watch is college football and some college basketball.

ESPN wants to push everyone to their app. And of course, in a few months they’ll raise the price from $30 a month to $40 a month. Then a few months later it will go to $50 a month and on and on and on.

Who pays for tv shows nowadays? As long as you have the Internet you can watch them all for free. Being loyal to them, tv providers, hasn't benefited anyone has it? Constant rate increases and having to switch who you subscribe to year after year as they keep jumping ship and moving platforms. Then throw in all the ads they add on top of all that money your paying and you just got to be a sucker to keep wanting to pay for it.

I've been able to watch just shite any tv show, movie, or live sport event for free. Just use Yandex to search, as they aren't some knee bending commie app like Google. You won't find the sites using Google like you once could before Biden fricked it all up.

For live sports, just go to Yandex and search for 'stream east ' then navigate from there. Any movie or TV show, just Yandex "the movie|tv show free stream".

It really is that simple.
