Emmitt had already won two Super Bowls, at least one (but I think two) rushing titles, and had his signature game against the Giants with a separated shoulder before Allen was even drafted.

Wasn’t Larry Allen the tackle that Reggie White clubbed with his forearm, and threw him 5 yards?
More of a testament to White than Larry. Everybody has a bad play. White clubbed him at the perfect time. Faked a speed rush and I believe caught Larry standing straight up with his feet crossed. Larry Allen probably crossed his feet about 5 times in an entire pro career. Lol
