Fell into watching old football videos and saw this old video of Larry Allen.

For those too young to remember, Allen is the best offensive lineman to ever play the game.

He was 6'3" 340lbs... And ran a 4.85 40.

Guy had a rough life. Stabbed as a child eight plus times trying to save his brother. Single mom raised him. In Compton. Had to go division 2 because he couldn't make the grades. He went to 10+ schools before he ever made it to college.

But the guy was a hard worker. He put in the time. He put in the work. And he was an athletic freak.

Earlier this year, a video of Devin White gained popularity. A big man chasing a runner down and saving a touch down.

This is a little different. This is the only Saints game I've ever been to. Larry... Larry was a Cowboy.

The video will speak for itself.

Allen is my all time favorite offensive lineman. The dude overcame so much to become an absolute unstoppable force for years in the NFL. He was a monster unlike anything we’ve seen before or since.

Why not post a pic in his Cowboys uniform?

That was the best picture I could find that captured Larry

He had a love for the game right there.

Larry Allen chasing down whatever Saints LB it was is not that unknown to call it down a rabbit hole.

I always wondered what an offensive line might perform like in the event that you could just have 5 Larry Allens

You could probably just run the ball every play

Larry used to pump his arm up and down and shout "Choo Choo" on run plays just to frick with the defensive line.

One Larry Allen was unstoppable...five just isn't fair.

Munoz is generally considered the greatest of all time.

But in terms of raw talent, Chris Samuels was the best I've seen. If he hadn't sustained that bizarre neck injury, he'd be first ballot HOF.

"That dude could have gone to the Pro Bowl every year as a defensive end if he wanted to" - Marcus Spears.

Possibly, but that's where his sweaty forearms would go in a two point stance

Played his college ball at tiny D-II Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, Ca. about 7 miles from where I live. Sonoma St. only had a football program from 1981-1996. During that time they sent 6 players to the NFL, Larry Allen being the most successful.

Those mid 90s Cowboy OLs were the best in the history of the NFL. The Triplets were good, but those lines made them great.
