I give the valet and bellhop each a $20 when I arrive at a hotel and $10 each when I check out. You get rewarded with some good help and if you have your car, maybe they will keep it out front.

What kind of good help are you getting from the valet and bellhop that others aren't?

You do it enough, it becomes to the point where it takes like 5 seconds in your head.

Minimum tip is $2 a head
(Family of 6 getting pizza and water, I tip $12 even if the final bill is under $30. This often also applies at a waffle house).

I generally round up a 20% tip at restaurants.
$1 per drink at a bar (these days, this would be a hotel or out of town situation).
10% on carry out orders.

Haircuts depends on coupons/discounts. A lot of times, I roll the savings to the barber(s). Generally speaking, I expect to pay about $17 per haircut including the tip (cost usually ranges from $12 to $15)

For $20 I don't know that the valet is going to have your car sitting at the drive through waiting for you every morning, but for $50-$100 he might. I guess it depends on the hotel.

I'm sure they do an excellent job at this price.

I start with doubling the tax. If service is par, that's what I tip. If I get better than average service I will throw in extra. Service has to really be horrible for me to give less than double the tax, which is something I haven't done many times.

At a buffet, if someone is just bringing my utensils and drink.. I will leave a few dollars on the table.

I tip based on service that I receive at a restaurant or bar. At a restaurant if the depending on the service I tip between 18 to 20 percent if the service is good and if it is substandard 5 to 10 percent. At a bar I usually pay cash and throw a buck in per drink. As far as take out and other ridiculous places I have seen tip jars like at convenience stores and an auto zone once ,uh no those people need to stop it with their bullshite. I have never not tipped before at a restaurant ,but I will walk out beforehand if the service is just that terrible.

I also tip the dealers at casinos when I win decent hands.
