The money should’ve gone into almost anything but:

Medicaid Trust Fund

&

Health Trust Fund

How about roads?

How about doing things that invite businesses into the state?

Yeah, sometimes plans can change at the last minute. LL and Jones stood me up for Mardi Gras this year. I know the feeling.

I may go meet Trim Tab and Glass at Kingpin. Those 2 lovebirds are always there.

then at least 100 percent of the money should go to help the people affected by the spill

This. My cousin was an oyster man and exposure to toxic chemicals after the spill made him contract fibromyalgia. Is anyone researching the health effects to louisianans?

How old are you and where are you from? Because you have a lot to learn about Louisiana politicians.

I was completely unaware that DWH did any damage at all to the Louisiana coastline

Obviously, so are you

The thing that makes me angry about 45% going to Medicaid is that there are plenty of people in LA who qualify for Medicaid who would have no problem affording private insurance

You just hit the nail on the head with that comment, corruption and liars everywhere and it’s not just in Louisiana it’s all over the country. Sooner or later others people money will run out and then who pays the tab?

None of the money should go north of Baton Rouge let alone mostly New Orleans and south.

You mean the people thst have been paying into the system their entire lives, got completely bent over with obamacare, paid taxes on their businesses, and employed people who pay taxes?

I'm cool with giving them a break

I know it wouldn’t fully fund a loop/new bridge, but it’d be a great start.

Coastal restoration is a losing battle. Money should be used for infrastructure.
