Yeah it's a POS. Should have spent the money and bought a Weber Genesis.

$180 for 3 years is a decent purchase if you ask me.

How long will a $500 grill last? 6 years? 7?

I don't use it much. But I think it was a new power cord for my cheap hp laptop. I usually try to buy things local. The local guy had it for $28, Amazon had it for $18...

That's about the line I draw on if I should shop local or not, the around 30% of price decreases la significant, esp if the item was of higher value it would be a no brainer. But $10 plus no sales tax was enough saved for me to not need to walk out the store with it 'in hand' and wait the couple of days to ship.

How long will that last? They are $700-900 on Amazon.

Will they last 10+ years?

My Weber (I think I paid $550 or so) is still going strong at 13 yrs. I did replace the guts though awhile back.

Charcoal filter media for my aquarium. Was cheaper by a mile. I took my filter apart and had the old media bag in the sink. Pulled out the new bag from container and it was noticeably smaller (was supposed to be the same size). Had to use it because the filter was apart. Called Amazon and they gave me half the price on a gift card.

I have a CharBroil with a dent in the side I got at Home Depot for like $100 in 2012 and it is still working like new.

I'll replace it in a year or two because it is getting rusty on the frame, but other than that, it looks fine too.

Maybe I just don't get it.

Nurse costume with badge and stethoscope for my 5 yr old daughter. $17.56 including expedited shipping. Every damn store in Lafayette was sold out of smalls.

Amazon and expedited shipping still cheaper then the stores.
