It’s after 10 on a Saturday night and you’re thinking about your grandmother getting plowed?

One of my great grandmothers worked in a brothel and when she had my grandfather his daddy was likely one of four different dudes, two were identical twins. His wife, my great grandmother, was found on the banks of the Mississippi just north of Baton Rouge when she was roughly 6-8 months old.

A boat captain spotted her and a deck hand got her and the boat captain brought her home and she became the 11th child of his family.


The way my grandparents on my daddy's side met is pretty crazy. My grandmother used to babysit for a wealthy family. One day the wife caught my grandmother and her husband in bed together. She got kicked out the house and was walking home when my grandfather stopped and offered her a ride. She jumped in and told him she was going wherever he was 2 days later they were married.

By the way, I made all of that up.

My grandmas first husband was struck by lightning which led to her meeting my grandpa and the rest is history. My entire life depended on way more of a slight chance than a glance. It depended on a dude getting struck by a bolt of fricking lightning. Insane honestly.

My grandmother’s first husband went down with his ship at the Battle of Coronel in 1914. Sunk by Admiral Graf Maximillian von Spee.
