this would certainly be the level-headed thing to do ..

I'm not even surprised by things like this anymore. I used to believe all Americans- save for a very small amount of extreme outliers- had some sense of right and wrong and operated under the same social contract used by civilized societies for centuries to ensure a productive, safe environment.
The reality is, there are two Americas.
In one, people are held accountable for their actions and are punished, usually more severely than the wrongful act warrants. They are simultaneously held up as an example of righteousness but also are torn to pieces under heavy scrutiny.
In the other America, its people are held to lower standards, because they are essentially ignorant of the ideals of basic human decency. This kind of uncivilized animalism is not only expected, but more often than not excused. They are looked upon in the same exact way as pitbulls- it is in their nature to by brutal, vicious, and don't serve any real purpose and yet are still around. A well trained pit bull can be a great dog, but most of them are not well trained and are still basically wild beasts which will revert to their base viciousness at any given time when provoked, even if the provocation is seemingly completely innocuous. Sure, there are many good pitbulls, but the majority of those dogs are just bad news.
Everyone has to decide for themselves who belongs to each of these different Americas- where the line is drawn.

Naw, it'll go from the girl, to the parents, to the community, and then to how blacks are being held back by white people, Congress, and George Bush. Then, the actual issue at hand will be brushed under the rug

The people online keep saying that was the boy's mother. She looks like a child herself. I wouldn't guess more than 14 years old. The boy can't be older than 5. Poor baby.

main stream media won't initially. But there may be a few outside of MSM that would blitz it hard, and if the story stayed alive, at some point, they may not be able to ignore it. Especially if you sucked in the police department. They love stories about the police force not doing their job. And they also love reporting on white retaliation, which might be ignited and take place. They'll report on that.

I'm pretty sure that it was while she was getting kicked in the head. I'm not watching that disgusting video again to clarify.
The girl was apologizing and begging them to stop. The only person in the video that tried to help was the guy that pulled the animal off of her. It's sickening.
