You know what really grinds my gears - driving related

Just because you have fancy LED daytime running lights on your Kia doesn't mean you don't need headlights. I have seen too many jackasses driving around with no rear lights because they think those daytime running lights are their headlights. Still have to turn on your actual headlights so people behind can see you.

What cars don’t have automatic light on them now?

Double negatives.

I used to have a Ford Escape for a work vehicle which didn't have automatic lights. The interior lights had the same brightness as when the headlights were on and the running lights put off just enough light to make you think the headlights were on. It was an absolutely horrible design.

Your privilege is showing.
Also, having the ability doesn't mean that the headlights are in the right setting

I hate the baws that keep their headlights off and use the LED light bar mounted on the front bumper for their headlights

I drive about 30K miles a year and have never encountered this. Maybe I misunderstand you. Are you suggesting it’s so dark at night that you have difficulty seeing a car in front of you. But yet the driver doesn’t feel the need to turn his lights on?
I can’t inagine such a scenario. They would have to be driving with no lights in the dead of night at high speeds on the interstate for this to be an issue

Nothing worse than the poors who get cheap HIDS, install them and make zero attempts to align them. Just scattered light all over the place, but hey "it's cool cuz dey bluish!"

They drive with just daytime running lights and have no rear lights. It seems to be newer model cars and they all have LED daytime lights.
The road lights up about 30 feet in front of them and that's it.
Usually see at least one while driving between BR and NOLA every few days.

Someone that does not know what a double negative is.

Must not be driving around in Louisiana.
I see this multiple times per day.
Lexus/Toyotas older Hondas and Nissans are the worst. I see a bunch of Dodge chargers running around like this too, but at least their tail lights come on too.
I'm baffled that all cars don't have 100% auto headlights that are smart enough to turn on too when wipers are on.
All of my cars besides my first 1995 POS have been like this including company Chevy work trucks.

I would think it is not unnecessary for him to read an English usage book.

Happens a lot in the rain. I used to drive 100+ miles a day and would see this most on the interstate in a hard rain.

Automatic lights should never have been put on cars.

In the DC area the city streets are lit up enough at night that someone can drive around without noticing his lights are all off.
Problem is that other people still can't see you well if you have a dark-colored car.
My gears are suitably ground by this.

When my RC's DRL's are on so are the tail lamps...Same with my girlfriends Corolla.

Are they manual or automatic?
That's good that tail lamps come on with DRLs, but I still see plenty of people driving around in conditions that warrant headlights(or at least full DRLs) but don't have them turned on at all.
It isn't pleasant coming up on a grey car on a misty grey day out of nowhere because they're driving around in a ghost car.

Not having auto headlights is trashy.
