The Bishop has set aside yet another sacred rule of Catholicism.

Wonder if this new rule only counts for Houma Catholics still living in Houma? Or if it counts for Houma Catholics living elsewhere. I’ll hang up and listen.

I’m sure everyone will still do their best to keep with tradition and make their weekly sacrifice by eating boiled crawfish and fried fish every Friday.

Every time I hear Vienna Sausages I think of a guy that I use to work with...He would pronounce Vienna as VI-E-NA with a short e.. He also pronounced treadmill as threadmill..

What a sad perversion of the faith. The whole point of Lenten Fridays is to fast and suffer as Jesus did, not enjoy feasts of seafood. And now we are eating meat. Sad.
