Fredis at Headrush in Gonzales/Prairieville on Airline Hwy does a great job with beard trims.

I only oil or wax mine when I'm going in public. Use dove for men conditioner and shampoo, works out well, keeps the beard soft.

Oil - The Mountain Man Badass Beard Oil
Wax - The Bushwhacker Badass Beard Wax

I wash my beard along with my hair every morning in the shower.

Just brush it.

I've gone through 2 Christmas's since shaving.

My beard is 80% white/grey.

I trim it myself with scissors.

I shape it myself. I use beard balm or oil, arbitrarily deciding which daily. Beard shampoo. I spend one maybe two minutes brushing. No preference on product.

My friend is a cop and he said the beard thing started in jail so the inmates can tell who's "down" by who has a beard

This, but my beard is all white. I just shaved it off a couple days ago, but still sport my stash.

1) No. Everyone I’ve encountered sucks.
2) Rarely. My beard isn’t very long. No need for a short beard.
3) Just balm when I do it.
4) Beard shampoo when I remember to buy it.
5) 30 seconds. Maybe.
6) Cremo

Just trim it myself, wash with shampoo and conditioner everyday. No overthinking it for me.

Interesting how so many beta's have beards these days. Like they are compensating for not being a man.

You guys with a beard, what are your answers to these questions:

1. Have you found a barber that is able to shape and trim your beard the way you want or do you do it yourself? Mostly trim myself but have had it shaped up at a barber and now just follow those lines

2. Do you apply beard wax or balm to your beard? How often?

3. Do you apply beard oil over the wax or balm? Or just use the oil without the wax? I use both beard oil at night when I get out of the shower and the balm during the day

4. Do you wash your beard with beard shampoo or use regular hair shampoo? I have some beard shampoo I have been using but mostly just regular shamoo

5. After applying wax, balm or oil how long do you spend brushing your beard? like 15 seconds with a boar hair brush

6. If you use any of these products, what brand do you prefer? I use the grave before shave products

TIA for any responses......I will put mine in the next post

Have balm and oil. Oil smells woodsy and nice. I rotate them but not together.

Have beard shampoo and alternate it with Crew shampoo.

I have a beard brush and use it for about 8-10 sec.

No barber. I handle my own beard grooming.

Mine runs about 1/4 -1/2 thick. Sometime I’ll cut it back to long stubble.

I have a pretty large beard.

The answer to most of your questions is no.

I just use conditioner on it when I shower.

I trim it myself

As its gotten longer I've noticed that moisturizer is needed for the skin.. but for the most part I really don't over think it.

Get some good trimmers and play with it..

These are all the correct answers.

I mostly trim myself with an occasional trim from my barber. I wash with regular shampoo and conditioner. I comb in a combination of Honest Amish oil, wax, and balm every night.
Another combing in the morning and it’s good to go.

I trim it myself

2. Do you apply beard wax or balm to your beard? How often?

No

3. Do you apply beard oil over the wax or balm? Or just use the oil without the wax?

I've used the oil sparingly. Maybe 2 times a year. The girlfriend likes the scent of it.

4. Do you wash your beard with beard shampoo or use regular hair shampoo?

Regular hair shampoo

5. After applying wax, balm or oil how long do you spend brushing your beard?

About 10 seconds. I keep it trimmed pretty neat.

I just run the clippers over mine once a week with a 3/8" guard and wash with shampoo.

Oh and Just For Men when it starts turning white.

I trim my own beard and have never put any products in it. Occasionally I will shampoo it with regular shampoo while I'm in the shower. It's pretty self sufficient but every few days I use a razor to clean up the lower neck area.
