What’s the best place to have the US Capital? Memphis? Indianapolis?

Somewhere in Colorado, such as Denver.

Defensible position with the capability to create bunkers within the mountains.

Essentially located in “the middle” of the country.

St. Louis.

It’s on the Mississippi River, it’s central to the majority of the country, it has historic significance, and Nelly is from there.

Starting over, need to BUILD a capital building in a City
City as but instead rebuilding the infrastructure and "New" city

Clean slate? Having everything in one place isn’t ideal for national security. I’d spread the departments across the Country. Keep Congress, Supreme Court, etc in DC.
