Are you happy?

Confused?

Grossed out?

Turned on?

I learned about turkey necks at an early age from eating them at my friend's house. Them suckers were good. To this day my friend's dad buys them by the case.

I still cook them from time to time. They're especially good at this time of year.

I made some last night and it reminded me of back during the Hurricane Katrina aftermath stuff, we had family and others staying at our house. We made a big pot of turkey necks for them. They weren't too excited and didn't know what it was at first. Some of them were grossed out at the thought of eating it. And most didn't bother trying it. I wasn't expecting that reaction from country folk. I lost a lot of respect for them that day. I hate ignorant rednecks.

This thread did not go where I thought it was going.

I’m surprised your wife had time to make that after our busy afternoon.

shite man I wish my wife knew what the stove is for. She just thinks it's something the house keepers deal with.

I’d probably smack her on the arse, kiss the back of her neck and treat her real nice later on because that’s a damn good meal

More than you’d think, and the bones give the gravy a great flavor. Turkey neck is highly underrated

I mean pork chops are like $1.50 a pound. But that does look pretty good.

Never had it, but I'd try it. Hell, it's the way I've always done it. I'll try it once to see and make my choice afterwards to continue or not going forward

About the same ratio as a chicken wing, but 100x better

If I came home and found my wife cooking anything, even boiling water, I’d pass right out from shock.
