I don't necessarily think he should be idolized either, but I can absolutely see why he is. Here's a kid who, however naive or idealistic you think he may be, took a stand when the the "adults" refused to and continued to allow cities across the country to be destroyed. To act like this kid just showed up to a riot to shoot people is completely disingenuous, especially given the fact that he had been there all day cleaning up the mess the rioters left and asking people if they needed medical attention right before all this went down. Again, he was doing the job that politicians and local officials were too cowardly to do.
