Eh. 80% of the state is a flat, barren wasteland, but the pretty parts are nice

YNP has some unusual stuff to see but I thought the Tetons was nicer.

Fair. I've been all over Wyoming.

Comparatively to the NW corner, most of the state is "flatish"

Tetons are definitely more visually striking, I think most would agree with that.

Wyoming - where men are men, and women are too.

eta: This joke used to be funny before it was a reality all over.

I've got some friends in Gardiner, and they're completely stuck in town. No way in to the park or out of Paradise Valley. Western parts of the state are seeing really high waters - I was going to go rafting on the Gallatin tomorrow but they told me it was too volatile. Better than a summer full of wildfires, though.

I said Wyoming... Tetons look prettier thus the reason I said Wyoming. Regardless both are pretty fricken awesome. The only way to do it right though is to get off the touristy paths and go backpacking. Old faithful is a wasted 45 minutes of your life to catch a quick geyser

Was up there last summer at this time.

Glad this shite wasnt happening.

But if I was there when this was happening, I would have just taken the RV further north to Glacier Park.

I spent the last week in Whitefish for work. Flathead Lake and Glacier are some of the prettiest things you'll ever see.

A good chunk of Glacier is closed, though - at least for motorists. Going to the Sun Road is still packed with snow.

Yeah mid to late July for that one. That side of the mountain gets about 80' of snow during winter months.

The hell with backpacking. Grab your flyrod and your waders! That's some of the most awesome flyfishing for trout to be had in North America!
