K2 is a Louisiana company. Keep yo business at home.
KYSEK (keep your stuff extremely kold) is another Louisiana company. Its coolers are the tits.

Pretty sure igloo makes one on the same level as the other two

Kysek owner rips off old ladies and is a crook

Got a big Igloo in the OP for the boat. It works great and is extremely durable.

For giggles, I looked at the largest YETI at Bucees last time I stopped there. Empty the damn thing was very heavy, It would be almost impossible to lift if it were full of ice and beer/shrimp/etc.

If you're a fan of the RTIC's, you better get them while you can. From the horse's mouth.
I ordered three RTIC 45s and they arrived via Fed Ex this morning. Really nice craftmanship and detail on their coolers. Actually like the trim seals even better than the Yetis. The coolers themselves are different than a 45 Yeti in design (albeit not much but still distinct) so I don't think Yeti is going to be successful in their lawsuit. High quality.

How long ago did you order them?

I love these threads where people argue about one cooler over another's ability to hold ice for days and days when the overwhelming majority of cooler use is for less than 24 hours.
I'm sure your RTICs are every bit as good as a Yeti, It's not some advanced CIA-level technology that is difficult to replicate.

You are 1000% correct BUT this purchase does not require me to put a Yeti sticker on the back of my truck which is why this was worth every cent.

So in theory, if I order one today, I could have it by Christmas?
Posted on 10/13/15 at 9:12 am to CoachChappy
If it follows the same time line as my order then the answer I guess would be yes you would have it by XMas.

no shite, that's why I bought them

Posted on 10/13/15 at 9:14 am to ihometiger
I've just been leery about buying one, because of the long wait time for it to come in or they might not come in at all.
Posted on 10/13/15 at 9:15 am to mizzoukills
Which one is durable without being expensive and keeps shite cool while being easy to carry? Which is least likely to be stolen?
Actually I saw some really nice coolers from pretty much every brand recently.
I just won't be a product evangelist for a cooler to the point where I stick their logo on everything I own.

Coastal Coolers is another company just getting started as well. The owner is from Baton Rouge I want to say.
Also really nice coolers with the same principle and design as the others mentioned.
