Yet another GoFundMe thread: HempHead's nephew edition

My brother and his wife brought a new baby boy in to this world about a month ago. In utero, they had found a mass on his lung that had pushed his heart and other lung to the other side of his chest cavity, in addition to the respiratory problems that it raised. Over the past month, he has improved every day, coming off an ECMO machine and on to a regular ventilator. Hopefully, within the next few days, his parents will finally be able to hold him.
Still, he is expected to be in NICU for at least another 3 months. Even with insurance and support from family, the bills for care and housing are mounting up, especially with no income stream. So I am asking the OT to help in whatever way they can to help out this little boy and his parents.

I hate asking this but with no income, did they file for Medicaid for that sweet boy? I can’t imagine what your family is going through right now. Sending prayers their way.

My brother's business recently reopened, but I don't think it is getting much traffic. Before COVID, they were doing rather well, and I'm not familiar with Medicaid laws, so I don't know how much that impacts it.
He tells me that Houston is a lovely place, and Texas Children's has a fantastic staff.

Tell you what. Mitch McConnell's wife got a shite ton of money from PPP while her husband tells people not to worry about money or jobs. Never been better.
