Texas Children's Hospital has an absolutely incredible staff. My kiddo had heart surgery at 5 months old. I could not even imagine doing it anywhere else.

That being said, I remember seeing the total cost for the year... that's heart surgery, everything before/after, and whatever else came in between, and I think his expenses were +/- $600,000 for the year. Healthcare is insanely expensive, but worth it when you need it most.

I have a friend who's child has been a patient there all of his life. He is doing so much better now, and that is a testament to what that hospital and it's people can do.
