I'd say it's pretty accurate except Mississippi should be 50 and Louisiana should be somewhere around 48-49.

I would be upset TN is so low, but the amount of butt hurt Texans about their shitty state being ranked so low makes up for any injustice to TN.

I'd say the list is pretty accurate. Honestly I would even put Texas a little lower. And North Carolina higher

I love how this thread started because LA is 50, and most LA folks just kind of shrugged or maybe said they should be a couple spots higher. Then this thread became all about Texas.

Texas is more than Houston, you know. The state made a concerted effort to diversify their economy after one of the big lets downs in the past.

I returned to LA last week for a funeral and I can honestly say that every time I go back it just feels more and more like a fricking shithole. I definitely appreciate my heritage and all that, I love the culture, but god damn the place is just a fricking mess

If there were people would be moving the other way.
Texans never seem to grasp how non Texans feel outside the bubble. Most non-Texans hate Texas. And there are a lot more non-Texans out there. Texas is right behind California and Florida on the crazy people meter.
