What’s the weather forecast in the world you’re living in?

You get it. They only understand violence. To beat them we would have to go deep. We can do this easily, so easily, we just don't want the fallout.

"urn SF and the CIA paramilitary dudes loose. Establish some small bases. Make friends with the guys locally that hate the Houthis. I don't know who they are but it's always someone. Arm and train those guys and support them with air power. Let them frick those dudes up. Sit back and watch. Profit."
But isn't that the same strategy we used in the early days of Vietnam? Although I agree that overwhelming force may not get the job done, I worry that the scenario you describe may lead to a long smoldering conflict, that without proper leadership in the WH, will lead to slow increases of US troop presence and we find ourselves once again stalled in a quagmire. Sometimes, overwhelming force responses like Operation Desert Storm, while still controversial, is the most useful to get the enemy to pull out all stops and try to defeat them. This allows the attacker 9us) to take out a large portion of their strategic reserves early, then prevent them from restocking, if we are allowed to condone off the region.

Lol. You say learn from our mistakes and then suggest the exact same tactics that we used in our losses in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Lol at shell and them signing those big arse natural Gas contracts with Qatar instead of more local gas here in the states for export....
Apparently they have but Venture Global is stalling by saying they're still commissioning their plant which lets them to delay their contract and sell to other customers at a higher spot rate vs what Shell/BP/etc.. signed for long term contracts.

Unless this is a US flagged ship, not our issue.
All these freight carriers register with Panama, some pacific island, or other country without a navy to save money…. Let them switch to US flagged if they want protection.

I say we do this trump style. Launch a barrage of stand off weapons at all of their weapons sites. Tit for tat, we don’t have to invade and install “democracy”.

That's some pretty powerful food and medical supplies

I’ll bet the tactic is as old as humanity.

WE LOST because of the dumb rules of engagement that were placed on the US Soldiers if we would have treated this like a war should be treated it would not have dragged out as long as it did, and we would have won hands down. Quick war tho isn't good business for the Military Industrial Complex.

And how much is this one going to cost?
Is potato head going to send billions to Norway to retaliate, or billions to Yemen (terrorist haven) after the retaliation?

US military could destroy Yemen in a week without even putting ground troops in

sounds like a Norway problem. my tax dollars don’t want to be involved.

Don't worry. I'm sure Joe is on it.
