I put mine at 78 during the day when I'm at work, and then usually 72 when I'm at home.

I'm like you. Once I start getting below 72 I start getting cold.

I keep mine on 79 most of the time and if it weren't for the old lady (no pics) I would keep it on 81 or so. If I kept it in the low 70's like I see some people do I would freeze to damn death

So am I, but we have a shitload of windows that face the west. Even with blinds and solar shades, it would be brutal in my house without the AC set at about 73 during the day. When we first moved in, the AC was undersized and the temp never got below 78-80 with the AC running just about 24/7. I have no idea how the previous owners did it.

This. My AC stays at 70 and I never raise it unless I’ll away for a few days. Not a single one of those making this suggestion follow their own guidance.

75 when I'm away, 72 when I'm at home during the day. At night, I turn it down to 68 for sleeping.

When you're at work or away, the program recommends setting it at 85 degrees.

That would take more energy to bring it back down than what you are saving.

That’s nice if my whole house would be the same temp

My living room is freezing and the bedrooms are hot

So the kids sleep in the living room in the summer lol
