frick yeah! We have 30k US employees and it's a paid holiday for us. We're going to have family over and have bbq chicken and watermelon. I'll turn on the irrigation system and let the kids run around in it or something. Not really sure how you're supposed to celebrate it, but that's our new tradition!

Not when you’re on Dem stamps and everything is free. You buy the good brand name shite when you don’t earn the money you use to eat

Many on social media have called out Walmart for using Juneteenth as a marketing scheme.

Yeah, because no corporation uses any other holiday as a marketing scheme.

People need to stop getting butt hurt and offended by the dumbest shite and just live their lives.

Such a dumb name in my opinion. Every time I hear the word "Juneteenth", I picture someone counting "Lebbenty lebben, lebbenty twelve, Juneteenth.

Anyone else just realize that "Juneteenth" is trademarked? Someone is trying to capitalize on this. Where's the outrage?

Why should they? There's good money to be made by being brown and constantly offended.

Well considering Juneteenth is not the date when the slaves were actually freed, yes it is indeed made up.

So by putting something out there to celebrate it, it’s bad?

All advertising is marketing so even the folks that celebrate Juneteenth are marketing it

So instead of chocolate, they choose red velvet and cheesecake? Is that supposed to symbolize bloody white folk?

What other prominent holidays ignore a known date of what they're celebrating and instead celebrate another day?
